Breaking News: Demaryius Thomas Dead at 33

Demaryius Thomas was found dead in his home on December 9th. KOA Broncos Insider reports, "Thomas passed from complications from a car accident in 2019" (Allbright). Unfortunately, there aren't many details available at the moment.

Although Demaryius Thomas was a superstar wide receiver on the field, some argue that he was even more extraordinary off it. Thomas prided himself on giving back to his community and spent countless hours doing so. He regularly held youth football camps where he would play tag football with kids along with many other acts of service to both Denver and his hometown Montrose, Georgia.

The world could use an immeasurable amount of time with Thomas and it's detestable that earth's time with him was short-lived. Despite this unbelievably disheartening news, Thomas will live on through the countless lives he touched and the special memories he created. Broncos nation and countless others will mourn his death. But more importantly, sports fans all around the world will learn from how he chose to live his life with humility and grace.
