After blowing out the Antetokounpo-less Bucks in game three, the Heat had a greater challenge in store for them with Giannis listed as active for game four. The healthy Bucks squad (with the exception of guard Wesley Matthews) was extra competitive in game four looking to avoid falling 3-1.
Despite Miami dealing with Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo both being out this series with a broken right hand and a torn left patellar tendon. Miami and their fans at Kaseya Center were equally as ferocious and secured game four with a 119-114 win thanks to an all-time great performance by Jimmy Butler.
Jimmy Butler held true to his title - - Playoff Jimmy, as he had his highest-scoring game yet with 56 points and nine rebounds. Many of which came in crunch time as he scored a miraculous 21 points in the fourth qtr and played all but eight minutes throughout the game.
Additionally, Jimmy broke Miami's playoff scoring record. The previous record holder was Lebron James with a 49-point game against the Brooklyn Nets in the semi-conference finals back in 2014.
Still, over the past decade, there has been a plethora of 3-1 comebacks. Most notably the 2016 Golden State Warriors vs Oklahoma City and the notorious 2016 Cleveland Cavaliers comeback against the 73-9 Warriors. Considering the Bucks were ultimately the first seed and a large favorite to win the series you simply cannot yet count them out. As long as number 34 is suited up on the court Miami will continue to be battle-tested.
Today, pressures continue to rise as this game could one day be seen as a legacy game for the two superstars, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jimmy Butler. Losing to the six seed in such an ugly fashion would certainly smear Giannis's legacy but at the same time losing a 3-1 lead would be equally as humiliating for Butler.
