Superstar Stephen Curry and Under Armour Have Parted Ways

According to ESPN reporter Shams Charania, “Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and Under Armour have parted ways.” Under Armour failing to boost sales as well as Under Armour shares declining nearly 40% could be key contributors to this seemingly mutual breakup which concludes what has been a 13 year partnership between Under Armour and Stephen Curry.

Curry will maintain full ownership of Curry Brand and now has an opportunity to take his brand and find a new partner that matches Curry Brand’s mission.

“I’m excited for a future that’s focused on aggressive growth with a continued commitment to keep showing up for the next generation,” said Curry.

With these new events NBA fans have been keeping a close eye on the shoes Curry has been wearing during warmups and will continue to do so in his next stretch of games against the Spurs, Pelicans, Magic and Heat.
